Siddharth Nohria of DAV Public Sets a Bench Mark

Amritsar, April 28 (Punjab Post Bureau)- Celebration time at DAV Public School ! DAV Public School Lawrence Road adds another feather in its cap as JEE ( Mains)- 2016 result was declared . Creating new bench marks , 18 students of the school cleared the exam. ( the number likely to go up). Siddharth Nohria brought laurels to the school by being the District Topper ( till the latest news). He has secured 290 marks out of  360. The other students who have made the school proud are  – Bhavya Vasudeva (263) , Kaustabh Nayyar (224), Garima  Chadha (184), Vedant Mehra (179), Siddharth Mehra ( 77), Syed Asad (168), Manavdeep Singh (167), Shrey Sharma (162), Nishad Gupta (158), Himanshu Gupta (158) , Chaitanya Sharma (144) , Kanav Bhagat (141), Manav Jindal (135), Aayush Kalra ( 117), Harsh Mehra (115), Shivam Kalia (111) and Nischay (107) . Overjoyed at  his success , Siddharth Nohria , the District  Topper said , “ This is just the first step. I am really thankful for the motivation and encouragement that  I received from my Principal and teachers, who had  faith in my abilities”. Though overwhelmed at their  success, the students said that they are now preparing  hard to conquer JEE ( Advance) Arya Ratan Sh.Punam Suri ji, President DAV CMC, New Delhi expressed his happiness at the splendid performance of the students. He sent his  joyous felicitations and blessed the students to aim  high and bring laurels for the country.  Regional Director , Punjab Zone – A, Dr. (Mrs.) Neelam  Kamra and the Manager of the school Dr. Rajesh  Kumar also congratulated the students for their splendid achievement. Dr. Neera Sharma Principal of the school said that she was more than happy to see her students making a mark for themselves. She advised them to continue with the hard work and follow their passion to be successful.
