Winners of Bhai Veer Singh Academy Relegious Competition honoured

Amritsar, May 5, (Punjab Post Bureau) – The school was engulfed in a religious aura as it organized a prize Distribution function for the winner of Bhai Veer Singh Academy. The students of Inter Harkrishan attended the classes twice a week for the session 2014-2016 in which three tests were conducted on Gurbani, Rehat Maryada, Sikh Culture, history & philosophy etc. The students showed wonderful performance with their dedication & unflinching efforts. The Prize Distribution function was commenced with the school shabad. Bhai Davinder Singh Khanna Wale Chairman Bhai Veer Singh Academy presided over the function. He awared the audience to be more and more close to Gurmat Education. His Soulful and melodious religious hymn rented the air & mesmerized the religious congregation. The 1^st Prize winner Amiteshwar Singh of G.T.Road got 10,000 cash prize. 2^nd & 3^rd prizes worth Rs. 7,000 & 5,000 were bagged by Jasmine Kaur of International Harkrishan School & Amritpal Singh of G.T. Road.  IV & V positions  were given to Navdeep Kaur & Simranjeet Kaur of International School Ranjit Avenue and G.T.Road school and were given cash prizes worth Rs. 3000 & 1000 respectively. Consolation Prizes worth Rs. 1000 each were given to Jabandeep Singh of Majitha Bypass School and Taranjot Kaur of Golden Avenue School. All these prize winners were honoured by Chairman of Bhai Veer Singh Academy, President S. Ujagar Singh, Secretary Paramjeet Singh Khalsa and CKD Vice president Dhanraj Singh, Santokh Singh Sethi, Pritpal Singh Sethi, Kuljit Singh Sahni and Dr. Dharam Veer and Dr. Smt Amarpali. Harminder Singh Member Incharge thanked the audience and specially Bhai Davinder Singh Khanne Wale. He appreciated the immense contribution of students in the field of religion & Education. Principal Ripudam Kaur, Jasbir Singh Sabar, Jaspal Singh and Mrs. Sukhjit Kaur graced the occasion &  Principal/Director Dr. Dharam Veer Singh congratulated the winners  & commendable efforts made by students & teachers.
