GNDU researcher won Best Poster Award

Amritsar, July 11 (Punjab Post Bureau) –  Ms. Kulwinder Kaur, Senior Research Fellow of Physics Department, Guru Nanak Dev University has won the best poster award at “9th World Drug Delivery Summit” held recently at New Orleans, USA for her research article entitled “Bioscaffolds of Copper Doped Hydroxylapatite Nanoparticles containing 1, 6-Diisocyanatohexane-Extended Poly (1, 4-butylene succinate) with pH Dependent Drug Delivery and Degradation”.

Prof. N.S. Saini, Head of the Department said that her presented work provides insights into the role of three dimensional scaffolds in dental implant and wound healing applications including drug release properties. She is currently pursuing her Ph.D. degree under the supervision of Professor K.J. Singh.
