DAV Students Shines in Annual Training Camp of NCC

Amritsar, Aug. 8 (Punjab Post Bureau) – The students of  DAV Public School, Lawrence Road participated in the Annual Training Camp of NCC held at Sai College of Engineering at Manawala from 19^th July to 23^rd July , 2016 organised by 11 Punjab Battalion of NCC. Different events were organised in this camp in which the students performed exceptionally well. Bhawmik (Class IX), Nimish (Class IX) and Gopesh (Class IX ) clinched the Gold , Silver and Bronze medal for being the best cadet on duty. Devam (Class IX) bagged  the Gold  Medal in Drawing Competition, Magam (Class IX) clinched the silver medal in 200 mt race and Saksham (Class IX)  won the Gold Medal in written test. Regional Director Punjab Zone A Dr. (Mrs.) Neelam Kamra and Dr. Rajesh Kumar , Manager of the school  congratulated the students for their brilliant performance and blessed them for future endeavours. Dr. Neera Sharma Principal of the school, applauded the efforts of the students and expressed her happiness on seeing the students showing  interest in co-curricular activities and excelling in them.
