DAV Public School Student Shines in National Karate Championship

Amritsar, November 16 (Punjab Post Bureau)- National Karate Championship was held at  Gol Bagh, recently. Hiten Sharma of Std II of DAV Public School, Lawrence Road , Amritsar clinched First Position in U – 9 Individual Kumte Championship . This Karate Kid , also won first position in Open Karate Championship and Sub – jr Open Championship. He received a trophy and a cash prize for his brilliant performance. Another student, Vatsal Kapoor bagged second position in the same championship in U – 9 categories. Regional Director, Punjab Zone – A Dr. (Mrs.) Neelam Kamra and the Manager of the school , Dr. Rajesh Kumar, Principal DAV College Amritsar congratulated the students for their talent and blessed them for future endeavours. Dr. Neera Sharma, Principal of the school applauded the efforts of the students. She encouraged them to work hard as they have a long way to go and make their school and country proud.
