DAV Public School Shines in International Karate– Do Championship

Amritsar, November 19 (Punjab Post Bureau)- The students of DAV Public School Lawrence Road proved their mettle in 9^th Indo Nepal Karate – Do Championship held recently  at the Great Buddha Academy of Martial Art, Batala. As many as 350 participants from India and Nepal participated in different categories. Five  students from the school  participated in Individual KUMITE and brought  laurels to the school. Pranav Jaitely of Std  IX and Jatin Sood of Std X bagged Gold Medal, Sanket Arora of Std VI and Anurag Bharti of Std X won Silver Medal and Mansewak Singh of Std IX won Bronze medal in the championship.

Regional Director Punjab Zone –  A, Dr. (Mrs.) Neelam Kamra and the Manager of the school and Dr. Rajesh Kumar  Principal DAV College , Amritsar congratulated the students for their performance and blessed them. Dr. Neera Sharma Principal  of the school applauded  the students for their efforts and said that it  was a big win for them as they had a chance  to compete at the international level.
