Annual Art and Craft Exhibition “PYLVN ” held at DAV Pub. School Cantt. Branch

Amritsar, December 17 (Punjab Post Bureau)- With the blessings of Arya Rattan Shri Punam Suri (President- DAV CMC, New Delhi) and under the able guidance  of the Principal Dr Neera Sharma DAV Public School 5-Cantt. Branch’s campus came alive with beautiful manifestations of life by young minds on 17^th Dec 2016. The annual Art and Craft Exhibition “PYLVN ” was held where 2900 children showcased their art and skill through craft items, needle work and drawings made by them. Their creative and innovative minds changed ordinary things like paper plates, jute rope, cups etc. into excellent piece of art. The young budding enthusiasts beautifully portrayed their innocent world full of life, sprouting each day with zeal. Animal masks, table mats, cushion covers, pottery, file covers, utility items, and decorative items were really eye catching.

            Hot air balloon was the highlight of the exhibition where everyone had a kodak moment to cherish in future. The Chief guest of the Exhibition was respected Rajinder Mohan Singh Chhina, President Indian Academy of Fine Arts. He inaugurated the Art and Craft Exhibition and observed every exhibit, interacted with students and appreciated the efforts made by small children. He said these events bloom the creativity and give wings to the imagination of the young budding artists.

            Regional Director Punjab Zone A Dr. Neelam Kamra and the manager of the school Dr. Rajesh Kumar applauded and congratulated the staff and students for the success of the event. The complete arena was buzzing with enormous turnout of the parents and children. The luminaries who  present  were Kunwar Vijay Pratap. Sudarshan Kapoor, Mrs. Shabnam Handa Principal Police DAV School and Mrs. Simmi Luthra Principal Red Cross School and Shama Sharma.
