CBSE Heritage quiz organised by CBSE in SGHPS G.T.Road

Amritsar, January 24 (Punjab Post Bureau)- CBSE Heritage quiz was organised by CBSE in SGHPS CKDCS, G.T Road. About 44 teams from different CBSE schools across Punjab participated in it. Director/ Principal Dr. Dharam Veer Singh presided over the quiz competition. The programme was commenced with school shabad.  It is an initiative taken by CBSE to develop construal interest in the students and appreciation for the prodigious heritage and culture of our country. In Level-1 round City Chapter from each school collectively participated in written test today. The qualified teams were DAV Public school Ludhiana, Sri Guru Harkrishan Sr. Sec School Amritsar, Springdale Sr. Sec School Amritsar, DAV Public School, Lawrance Road, Amritsar, Jodhamal Public School Jammu, Dashmesh Public School Faridkot. They participated from Level -1. The quiz was comprised of a mix of verbal audio and visual questions.  The exuberant students participated in neck to neck competition.

In Level – 2 round Springdale Sr. Sec. School bagged 1^st position and Jodhamal Public School got 2^nd position. Now these 2 teams will participate in the regional level quiz. Mr. Shashank Malik the quiz master appreciated the tremendous enthusiasm among students.  Director/ Principal Dr. Dharam Veer Singh appraised the efforts of the teams and motivated them to come forward to face the challenging world. Headmistress Mrs. Kawalpreet Kaur said  that such quiz infuse ardent spirit of awareness to preserve our heritage among students. Harminder Singh member Incharge and headmistress Mrs. Nischint Kahlon graced the occasion.
