DAV celebrated 68th Republic Day

Amritsar, January 27 (Punjab Post Bureau) – DAV College celebrated 68^th Republic Day of India in college premises. This event was organized under the supervision of Principal Dr Rajesh Kumar. On this auspicious occasion, Flag was unfurled by Hon’ble Principal Dr. Rajesh Kumar. The event was attended by NCC Cadets, NSS volunteers and staff members of the college.

While speaking on the occasion, Principal Dr Rajesh Kumar conveyed his greetings to all the staff members. He added that this 68^th Republic Day is an occasion to honour the Constitution of India as it came into force on the same day in the year 1950. At this day, the new Indian constitution was sketched and approved by the Indian Constituent Assembly.  Students from department of Biotechnology presented Patriotic speech that depicts the internal struggles and all the sacrifices of the Indian army soldiers while saving their country. Dr. Daisy Sharma, Dr. Rajni Khanna, Prof R.K Jha, Dr. Amardeep Gupta, Prof Arif Nazir, Dr. Vikas Gupta, Dr. Neeraj Gupta, Prof Sanjeev Dutta and Dr. Kiran Khanna were also present during the event.
