Business School of Guru Nanak Dev University organised ‘TRELLIS 2017’

Amritsar, March 8 (Punjab Post Bureau) – University Business School of Guru Nanak Dev University organised TRELLIS 2017 at Guru Granth Sahib Bhawan to serve as a platform for corporates and academic to share their experiences and knowledge. Eminent speakers from Industry Mr. Rahul Seth (New Diamond Fab Trends Pvt. Ltd.,) Mr. Sunil Kumar (IOC), Mr. Ajay Dhawan (Unique Lubricants, Amristar) Mr. Kawaljit Singh (Freedom Group of Industries), Dr. Deepika Sharma & Mr. Gurmeet Singh (Fortis, Amritsar), Mr. Joginder Singh (Asia Pacific Operations), Mr. Ravinder Pal Chawla (General Manager, Dr. Om Parkash Eye Institute (P) ltd.) and Mr. Bikramjeet Singh (Value HR) ensured their worthy presence and shared their experiences with the students and motivated them to achieve excellence Dr. Bikramjit Singh Maan, Head, UBS graciously thanked professionals from Industry and committed to the students of the department that UBS will be organizing this academic Industry meet every year in the University. Dr. Amarjit Singh Sidhu, Sr. Professor UBS, appreciated the efforts of the organising committee to pave way for such an important event.

Dr. Vikram Sandhu, Director, Trellius-2017 further opined about the need of having such common platforms for idea generation and motivated the students. Dr. Gurpreet Randhawa, organizing secretary, TRELLIS 2017 showed her firm belief in the even saying it will pave path for new business horizons. The chief guest, Dr. K.S. Kahlon, Registrar, GNDU appreciated the efforts of the coordinating and organizing committee of the department. He further opined that such events should be encouraged to a great extent so as to enlighten the students to add value to Industy as a better professional.
