Festival of Colours Celebrated with Fervour in DAV Public School

Amritsar, Marc 11 (Punjab Post Bureau) –  The festival of colours Holi, one of the most vibrant festival was celebrated with fervour by the students of DAV Public School Lawrence Road. This fun filled festival draws smile and enthuses vitality amongst people of all ages . A special programme was arranged by the teachers on this occasion. The teachers shared the importance of Holi with the students. The festival celebrates the triumph of ‘good’ over ‘bad’. The legand of Holika was narrated and the teachers sang jubilant songs building a festive mood in the premises. Amidst the cheers of Holi Hai ! Holi !, the teachers showered flowers on the students  blessings them to do their best in their exams.

 Regional Director Punjab  Zone – A  Dr. (Mrs.) Neelam Kamra and the Manager of the  school Dr. Rajesh Kumar Principal DAV College Amritsar sent their warm wishes for the students  on this occasion. Dr. Neera Sharma, Principal of the school gave her blessings to the students and teachers on this auspicious day. She wished good health, prosperity and happiness for everyone in life as vibrant as the hues of  Holi colours.
