DAV Students Outshined in the University Examinations-2016

Amritsar, March 14(Punjab Post Bureau) – The students of DAV College bagged various merit positions in the university examinations held in December 2016. In the recent results declared by the Guru Nanak Dev University Amritsar, students of MSc (CS)-I, Isha Gazdar secured 432/600 marks and bagged 2^nd position in university and 1^st position in district, Aastha Bhatia secured 421/600 marks and bagged 6^th position in university and 2^nd position in district, Harmanpreet Kaur secured 418/600 marks and bagged 7^th position in university and 3^rd  position in district, Palak Wadhwa secured 410/600 marks and bagged 9^th  position in university and 4^th  position in district. Whereas Varsha Rani of MSc (CS)-III Sem secured 461/600 marks and bagged 3^rd   position in university and 1^st position in district. Students of BCA- Sem-III also bagged meritorious positions, Shubham Mahajan secured 238/300 marks and bagged 3^rd position in university and 2^nd position in district, Vasu Madaan secured 230/300 marks and bagged 9^th position in university, Pranav Mahajan secured 229/300 marks and bagged 10^th position in university.  Ankit Patyal student of BCA-Sem-V secured 320/400 marks and bagged 8^th position in the university and 2^nd position in District.Principal

Dr Rajesh Kumar congratulated merit holders along with their proud parents. Speaking on the occasion, Principal Dr. Rajesh Kumar said that the college is proud of achievements of the students and motivated them to keep it up. He also applauded the efforts of PG Department of Computer Science and Information Technology and congratulated Dr Amardeep Gupta, Head of the Department and other faculty members of the Department. On this occasion, Prof Rama Bhardwaj along with other Professors  extended their heartiest congratulation to the students .
