Amandeep College of Nursing holds Free Medical Camp on International Nursing Day

Amritsar, May 15 (Punjab Post Bureau) –   Nursing is a noble profession as this fraternity deals with the patients & helps them to heal quickly. Nurses are the backbone of the Medical Field & one can’t even think about this field without the contribution of Nurses. Job of a nurse requires dedication, soft skills, pressure bearing, and working in odd hours. We recognize the contribution of nursing staff for in healing the patients. These words were expressed by Chief Guest Dr. Shahbaz Singh during a function organized by Amandeep College of Nursing Jethuwal on International Nursing Day. Commemorating Florence Nightingale on her birth anniversary,  he added that International Nursing Day is celebrated to mark the `contributions of Florence Nightingale to the society all over the world every year. Amandeep Hospital a free medical check-up camp for the people of nearby vicinity was also organized, wherein more than 300 patients were checked by the expert doctors of Amandeep Hospital Amritsar. Apart from this, poster making & quiz competition was also organized to refresh & enhance the skills. Dr. Shahbaz Singh distributed prizes to the winners of the competition.
