Closing Ceremony of 30th Vidya Bharati North Zone Sports Meet held

Amritsar, August 21 (Punjab Post Bureau) – The closing ceremony of 30^th Vidya Bharati North Zone Sports Meet held at Madhav Vidya Niketan today.  The former Olympian Arjun Awardee Brigadier Harcharan Singh was the Chief Guest and function started with lamp lightning ceremony.Principal Mrs. Kamlesh Kaur Multani along with the members of Management (SMC) welcomed the worthy chief guest. The chief guest awarded the winners. The chief guest Harcharan Singh said in his speech that everyone should participate in games because game is a good activity and sports person is a wholesome personality. He added that it is difficult to maintain sports and academics both, but not impossible.
