30th North Zone Sports Meet held at Madhav Vidya Niketan School

Amritsar, Aug. 24 (Punjab Post Bureau) – 30^th North Zone Sports Meet was organised at MadhavVidya Niketan Senior Secondary School by Vidya Bharati Sarvhitkari  Educational Society. In this event 350 students of 40 schools from 5 states (Jammu& Kashmir, Punjab, Delhi, Haryana & Himachal Pradesh) participated with great enthusiasm and fervour. Inaugural ceremony of this function started with the lamp lightning by Chief Guest Ex Minister Anil Joshi and SaraswatiVandana. The Principal Mrs. Kamlesh Kaur Multani welcomed the chief guest Anil Joshi and Ashok Babbar General Secretary Sarvhitkari Educational Society Punjab honoured the chief guest  with the Momento and Shrifal . Anil Joshi appreciated the works and efforts of Vidya Bharti in the field of education and sports  and also praised the newly built infrastructure of MadhavVidya Niketan. The members present on this event were Surinder Attari General Secretary North Zone Vidya Bharti  Akhil Bhartiya Shiksha Sansthan, Vijay Nadda (Sangathan Mantri), Dr. Bhim Sain (President , SMC) Dr. Arun Mehra (Vice president , SMC) & Dr. Rajesh Mahajan (Manager, SMC).This competition was conducted with the games of Netball , Tai kvando, Wooshoo, Judo, Kurash & Fencing . An Oath was also taken by the players participating in this events .Sh. SurinderAttri Ji in his speech said that games are a  part of our culture & tradition. Keeping this is in view Vidya Bharti Organise this type of events from time to time for the upliftment of the students and bring  out their hidden talents .
