Prof. Dr. Jaspal Singh Sandhu visited University Hostels and Health Centre

Amritsar August 30 (Punjab Post Bureau) – Professor Dr. Jaspal Singh Sandhu, Vice-Chancellor of the Guru Nanak Dev University did a surprise visit to the Sahibzada Jujhar Singh and Sahibzada Zoravar Singh boys hostels, University Swimming Pool and Health Centre. Mr. H.S. Tinna, Incharge, Bhai Lalo Construction Department of the University was also accompanied him.

                    During his visit, Professor Sandhu visited rooms, messes, canteens, dining hall, kitchen and toilets of the various blocks of the hostels. He instructed the concerned departments to more improve the cleanliness, sanitation and hygiene during the food making and serving. He also interacted with the hostellers and assured them to more improve the services in the hostels. On the demand of students, he immediately instructed the concerned department to make proposal for state of art health club in the hostel premises. He said that he will himself assure the best services in the hostels to the students by inspecting periodically. He said that students could visit him personally in case of any problems and gave constructive suggestions.
