Amritsar, July 13 (Punjab Post Bureau) – Member of Parliament Gurjeet Singh Aujla presented a report of his anti drug drive to chief minister Capt. Amarinder Singh on Thursday at Chandigarh. Aujla said that the report contained information regarding the de-addiction facility and the requirements to cater to large number of the addicts. Aujla informed that also presented a few other demand letters to the chief minister which included total revamping for Guru Nanak Dev Hospital and its upgradation to a super speciality facility and addition of this project in the government’s celebration project of 550th birth anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev, establishment of Dr. Manmohan Singh World Class Digital Library at Amritsar, constitution of a board or a corporation for the development of Christian community, installation of bailey bridge over river Ravi at Ramdas which is lying de-commissioned at Gurdaspur and a special package for the restoration of areas affected by JICA project especially Amritsar West. Aujla informed that Capt. Amarinder Singh has assured of complete support in all the projects and showed his great concern for the de-addiction drive initiated at Amritsar.
