DAV Public School Honoured At Independence Day Celebration

Amritsar, 16 August (Punjab Post Bureau)- On the occasion of the 72^nd Independence Day, the honourable Finance Minister of Punjab S.Manpreet Singh Badal conferred District Award to DAV Public School , Lawrence Road, Amritsar for its outstanding contribution in the field of education and promoting innovation. The Chief Guest of the day, S.Manpreet Singh Badal  at the occasion of  Independence Day Celebration in Amritsar, awarded a Shield and a Commendation to the Principal of the school, Dr.Neera Sharma for Excellent Services in Education . Also the team of the Atal Tinkering Lab  under the supervision of Ms.Resham Sharma Incharge Atal Tinkering Lab was awarded for Information Technology and Innovation. The school was praised for its zealous efforts in the direction of promotion of research among school children. The team comprised of ; Rachit Rajiv Sharma, Kuvam Devgan, Vidhisha Singh, Rishab Aggarwal, Deepankur Shoor and Rachit Aggarwal. They were also felicitated for their interaction through Video Conferencing with the honourable Prime Minister Sh.Narendra Modi for being one among top 30 innovations of the country.

Regional Officer, Dr.(Mrs.) Neelam Kamra and the Manager of the school Dr. Rajesh Kumar , Principal DAV College for Boys congratulated the school  for its brilliant performance in the filed of education. They encouraged the students to come forward with new  ideas and contribute in the progress of the nation.

Dr. Neera Sharma , Principal of the school was very pleased at the achievement of the school and asked the  students to keep innovating and convert their ideas and projects into reality for the betterment of the nation.
