Guest Lecture on ‘Tourism in Punjab & Amritsar’ organized by BBK DAV College

Amritsar, Aug. 30 (Punjab Post Bureau)- The Department of Tourism & Travel Management & Geography, BBK DAV College for Women organized a Guest Lecture on ‘Tourism in Punjab & Amritsar’ the lecture was delivered by District Tourist Officer, Mr. Balraj Singh & Mr. Deepak. They threw light on the Potentials of Tourism Sector in Amritsar as well as in other cities of Punjab in upcoming years. Their valuable words created awareness among students about the efforts and initiative taken by the Punjab Government in this regard. He also informed and invited the students on the Heritage walks in Amritsar. He also discussed about Bed & Breakfast Scheme etc of the Punjab Tourism Department. He shared some future plans of government to promote tourism in Punjab. Head of Department, Mr. Naresh Kumar, welcomed the guests. Ms. Preeti Sharma,   Ms. Rupali Malhotra, Ms. Dilkiran Kaur Assistant Professors were also present on the occasion.
