DAV Red Cross School for Special Children bagged Gold Medal in National Deaf Junior and Sub Junior Games

PPN1002201915Amritsar, Feb. 10 (Punjab Post Bureau) – With his excellent show Kunal Sharma a hearing impaired student of DAV Red Cross School for Special Children brought laurels to the school and parents by winning Gold Medal in Long Jump in National Deaf Junior and Sub Junior Games. These games were held in Chennai last week. These tournaments were organized by All India Sports Council for Deaf. Players from all over 23 states participated in these games. The star performer was selected for National games after winning one silver medal in long jump and one bronze in 200 meter race in Punjab State games for deaf held in Patiala in December 2018. Regional Officer Punjab Zone –A & Manager Dr. (Mrs.) Neelam Kamra, Principal Dr. Neera Sharma and Mrs. Simmi Luthra congratulated Kunal and his teacher Mrs. Saroj for his excellent performance and blessed him for the future tournaments.
