Voter awareness rally by DAV Public School Students

Amritsar, May 17 (Punjab Post Bureau) – Students of DAV Public School Lawrence Road took out a Rally to make the voters aware about the importance of voting and their vote in a democracy. As many as 25 skaters and 40 other sports enthusiasts of the school participated in this rally. The rally was flagged off from the school by the Principal of the school, Dr. Neera Sharma. The students marched to the main road near Novelty, holding placards with Slogans like ‘Be Responsible & Vote,’ ‘Your Authority Is your Finger’, ‘Come Out And Vote’ etc. The aim of the rally was to encourage voters to reach their respective voting booths on May 19, 2019 and cast their vote.

All the sports teachers of the school also accompanied the students. Dr. (Mrs.) Neera Sharma Principal of the school in her message asked the students to educate their parents, relatives & neighbours  about the significance of casting their vote. She urged the students to come forward and always join in for such campaigns that educate a society.
