1823 Cases settled in National Lok Adalat – Sumit Makkar Civil Judge

Amritsar, Dec 15 (Punjab Post Bureau) – As per the directions given by National Legal Services Authority and Punjab State Legal Services Authority, SAS Nagar, Mohali. Under the guidance of Hon’ble District & Sessions Judge, Amritsar a National Lok Adalat was held on 14 Decmber 2019 at District Courts, Amritsar, Ajnala and Baba Bakala Sahib. In this regard, in total 30 benches have been constituted; 26 Benches at Amritsar, 3 Bench at Ajnala and 1 Bench at Baba Bakala Sahib were constituted and for taking up and disposal of maximum cases in National Lok Adalat. Total 5274 cases were taken up in this National Lok Adalat and 1823 cases were disposed of. Settled amount in this National Lok Adalat is Rs. 30,41,97,943/-.
