Amritsar, October 21 (Punjab Post Bureau) – Member Parliament Amritsar Gurjeet Singh Aujla visited JCP Attari to
inspect the development works being carried out by NHAI. Rs. 25 crores is being spent on this beautifiction and plantation project. After witnessing the retreat ceremony Hon’ble MP was briefed by NHAI Amritsar Project Director Sunil Yadhav. DIG BSF Bhupinder Singh and other officials were also present in the meeting.
Following recommendations and changes were sugested by Gurjeet Singh Aujla in the project:
- To Request the Union Government to restart the retreat ceremony on all the posts to rejuvenate tourism.
- To installation vintage clock in Flower Phulkari to the tune of clock at Lal Bagh Garden.
and Special concealed face detection/recognition CCTV cameras on all locations.
- Relocation and up gradation of high mast flag with surveillance points and digital surveillance. Hon’ble MP to meet the Home Minister with a proposal designed by the world’s top firm.
- Land use issue with the Land Port Authority of India to be resolved by the office of MP Amritsar.
- Testing of the truck scanner is still pending, LPAI to be issued show cause notice.
- Land use issue with Customs to be resolved by the office of MP Amritsar.
- Maintenance of plants, flowers and hedges will be given to various corporates and quarterly awards shall be given for best maintenance to motivate the corporates to ensure better maintenance.
