Birthday of Bhai Lalo Ji celebrated by SGPC

Amritsar, September 25 (Punjab Post Bureau) – SGPC celebrated the birth anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev Ji’s Sikh Bhai Lalo Ji by organising a religious congregation at Gurdwara Sri Manji Sahib Diwan Hall inside the complex of Sachkhand Sri Harmandar Sahib.

                       After the bhog (Culmination) of Sri Akhand Path Sahib, Gurbani Kirtan was recited by hazuri raagi jatha of Sachkhand Sri Harmandar Sahib. Ardas (Prayer) was offered by Bhai Baljit Singh and the holy Hukamnama was recited by Bhai Harmitar Singh kathawachak of Gurdwara Sri Manji Sahib.

                   Bhai Harmitar Singh put the light on the life and work of Bhai Lalo Ji and said that his life is a guide for the society, which inspires to be connected to the Karta Purakh while practicing the work of Dharam (Faith). He said that the first Guru gave great respect to Bhai Lalo Ji and gave lessons to humanity to do true work.

                  On this occasion SGPC executive committee (EC) member Harbhajan Singh Masanan, manager of Sri Darbar Sahib Gurinder Singh Mathrewal, superintendent Malkit Singh Beharwal the Sangat and others were present.
