BBK DAV College bags GNDU Inter College Judo Championship Trophy

Amritsar, Jan. 8 (Punjab Post Bureau) – The Judo team of BBK DAV College for Women, Amritsar lifted the GNDU Inter- College Judo Championship Trophy. The event was held at GNDU on January 04, 2015. The college Judokas gave a splendid show by winning the trophy with 26 points. The GNDU campus team stood runners up with 7 points and HMV College, Jalandhar got second runners up position with 6 points. The College Judo team won two gold medals, four silver medals and one bonze medal. Also six players of the college team got selected for All India Intervarsity Judo Championship to be held at GNDU Campus from Jan 30 to Feb 1, 2015. The names of the selected players are Sunaina, Pallavi, Navroop, Manjinder, Navneet and Rajat. Other team members are Prabhjot and Sukhjinder. Principal of the college, Dr. (Mrs.) Neelam Kamra along with HOD of Sports Department Mrs. Sweety Bala congratulated the students for their success.
