Amritsar, August 2 (Punjab Post Bureau) – DAV Public School Lawrence Road Amritsar solemnly observed the 
Martyrdom Day of the great patriot Bal Gangadhar Tilak with deep respect and reverence. A special morning assembly was organised to pay tribute to the legendary freedom fighter whose unparalleled sacrifice continues to inspire generations.
The assembly commenced with a heartfelt homage to the great martyr. A student recited a patriotic poem highlighting the courage, determination, and selfless sacrifice of Bal Gangadhar Tilak. Another student eloquently spoke a few words on his life, patriotism, and his invaluable contribution to India’s freedom struggle, reminding everyone of the importance of remembering our national heroes.Through informative presentations and meaningful discussions, students reflected upon his fearless spirit and his unwavering commitment to the nation.
Addressing the students Principal Dr. Pallavi Sethi inspired them to imbibe the values of patriotism, courage, discipline, and dedication exemplified by Bal Gangadhar Tilak . She urged the students to honour the sacrifices of our freedom fighters by becoming responsible, compassionate, and sincere citizens who contribute positively to the progress of the nation.
