Congress staged protest at Ajnala against the SAD-BJP

Amritsar, 16 Feb. (Punjab Post Bureau) – A protest was staged at Ajnala by Sh. Harpartap Singh Ajnala against the SAD-BJP. It is learnt that SAD-BJP is forcing the officers to cancel/reject the candidature papers of Congress candidates as SAD-BJP have foreseen their defeat and rejection by voters. A memorandum was submitted to SDM Ajnala for reviewing the rejections. Addressing the gathering Sh. Ajnala said that Congress is already striking fear in the hearts of SAD-BJP so there are resorting to mean and violent ways to deter Congressmen. Sh. Aujla advised the Congressmen to stay calm and work at ground level. He assured the workers that entire Congress leadership is with them and they will not bear any such actions by SAD-BJP.
