NCC created a record for the largest yoga performance single uniform

Amritsar, June 22 (Punjab Post Burau) – Under the ages of 1Pb (G), NCC, 750 cadets participated at three venues at BBK DAV College for Women, S.R. Govt. College, Amritsar and SS Bajwa School, Quadian commencing at 7.00 A.M. upto 7:35 A.M. as per protocol issued by Ministry of Ayush. BBK DAV College performed this yoga event by marking a number of 296 cadets after providing them full fledged training for two months to build proper co-ordination and teach the proper techniques. On behalf of college Principal, College Registrar, Dr. Neeru Chadha and NCC Incharge Dr. Harsimran Kaur also participated & performed yogic acts. NCC has been at the forefront of ‘NATION BULDING’ by grooming the youth into disciplined citizens conductiong social awareness, community developments programs and adventure activities aimed of its cadets. This unique record on the ‘International Day of Yoga’ has added another feather to the cap of this youth organization.
