
Amritsar, Aug 7 (Dharmendera Singh Rataul) – The members of the Students Council of Khalsa College Public School (KCPS) took the oath of maintaining discipline and pledge service to the nation and the society. They were administered the oath by Khalsa College Governing Council honorary secretary Rajinder Mohan Singh Chhina at a glittering ceremony. Principal of school Dr. Sarvjit Kaur Brar welcomed the guest and congratulated the students who took the oath. The students including the head boy and head girl pledged to respect rules and principles, laid down by the school for the betterment of campus and to follow disciplined path to be responsible citizens. While addressing the students, Chhina said quality education and knowledge based society were a panacea to all problems in society. He congratulated the council members and motivated them to work hard and inculcate discipline in life. He encouraged them to be inquisitive and excel in their chosen fields. He honored head boy and head girl and marshals members of the advisory committee, academic prefects, deputy prefects and Astt. prefects by badges. The Principal also congratulated the members of students’ council and said that such responsibilities instill leadership qualities and organizing abilities amongst students.
