‘Tiranga Yatra-2015’, a massive & mega Patriotic Rally organized on  Independence Day

PPN1508201508Gurgaon, Aug. 15 (Punjab Post) –  Shaheed Bhagat Singh Sewa Dal (Regd.) renowned NGO, hosted ‘Tiranga Yatra -2015’, a massive & mega Patriotic Rally on the occasion of Indian Independence Day 2015. This rally, took place on 15th August 2015 in East Delhi, beginning from NGO Office, 85, Pratap Khand, Jhilmil Colony, Vishwakarma Nagar, Shahdara, East Delhi. More than 500 Volunteer participants took part in this ‘Yatra’ where all of them covered app. Distance of 7-10 Kilometers on foot. Spearheaded by Jitender Singh Shunty (Founder of the NGO & known Social Worker), Manjeet Kaur Shunty (President- Ladies’ Wing of the NGO) and Mr. Hanuman Lakhotia (President of NGO), this rally gave a message of unity and oneness as there were people from all religions, casts, sectors and age groups who took part in it. Starting immediately after the Flag Hoisting from the starting point, the Rally covered the following areas of the Shahdara Area of East Delhi- Jhilmil Colony, Pratap Khand, Shiva Khand, Vivek Vihar Phase- 2, Kasturba Nagar, Jwala Nagar and  end at Shri Ram Mini Stadium at Mukesh Nagar. An environment of Patriotism was felt oozing out as arrangements for Patriotic Music alongside the Rally was also held which was welcomed at several points by the RWA Presidents and Members and Citizens. The youth registered its name at large who took part in this rally. Indian Flags were honorably carried by the NGO members & participants in the Rally. Since its inception in 1996, Shaheed Bhagat Singh Sewa Dal (NGO) is known for providing its valuable services free of cost to the society such as Free Ambulance, Free Hearse Van, Free Cremation, Free Blood Donation, Free Mortuary Box, Blood Donation Camps, Free Heath Check Camps, Disaster Management etc. The NGO keeps organizing such rallies at various occasions to keep the zeal of Patriotism up and keep name of Martyrs such as Shaheed Bhagat Singh, Rajguru and Sukhdev alive in the minds and hearts of today’s generation.
