BBK DAV College for Women pays tribute to Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam

Amritsar, Sept. 3 (Punjab Post Bureau) – A DBT Sponsored power point presentation and on the spot poster/collage making competition was organized by Dept. of Physics, BBK DAV College for Women. The objective of this programme was to pay a heartfelt tribute to Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam. Dr. Davinder Paul Sing, Professor, Dept. Of Physics, GNDU, Amritsar was the Chief Guest and judge during this event. He was welcomed by the Principal Dr. (Mrs.) Neelam Kamra. The students expressed their ideas on various themes through posters, collage, sketches and power point presentations. Dr. D.P. Singh felicitated the winners of this event and encouraged all the participants. He advised the students to follow the teachings and path shown by Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam. He said that everyone should propagate the thoughts and ideology of Dr. Kalam and fulfill his vision of 2020, and world peace. Dr. Shweta Mohan, Head, Dept. of Physics, BBK DAV College for Women, extended a vote of thanks to the chief guest for sparing his valuable time and gracing the occasion by his presence.
