Only 5 percent out of 1500 needs knee replacement

Replacements are needed when arthritis reaches stage 4, where the bone starts degenerating and there is no other option than knee replacement. Out of the 1,500 regular opds, patients coming to us with joint pains, only 5 per cent actually need replacements.”
