
Amritsar, Oct. 28 (Punjab Post Bureau)- Chief Khalsa Diwan celebrated its 113th foundation Day on 28 Oct, 2015 With great fervor and gaiety. Shri Akhand Paath Sahib was hosted by Chief Khalsa Diwan in Gurudwara to commemorate the 113th foundation anniversary of Chief Khalsa Diwan. After Bhog ceremony, Ragi Jatha of Central Yatimkhana and the students of Sri Guru harKrishan public School, G.T. Rd., Asr chanted divine and soulful Kirtan and enthralled the Sadh sangat with their religious hymns. President S. Charanjit Singh Chadha and Other Members of CKD expressed their gratitude through Ardass for CKD achievements and prayed for bestowing CKD with confidence, courage, faith and wisdom to make all efforts for further developments of CKD.
President Chief Khalsa Diwan S. Charanjit Singh Chadha put light on the history of Chief Khalsa Diwan and the CKD achievements of last few years. He also exposed forthcoming projects of CKD under which Sri Guru Harkrishan schools at Nanda Chaur and Shubam Enclave are planned soon to be opened. Moreover School at Nanda Chaur , Hoshiarpur and an ultra modern hospital having state of art with all modern orthopedic and other facilities is under construction and scheduled to be opened for patients shortly in the current year. The project of opening new School of Excellence in Mohali is also in consideration and its opening project would soon be planned by CKD. He credited for the development and progress of year by year increasing CKD institutes to the team work of office bearers, dynamic leadership of honest member incharges and Director Education Dr. Dharamveer Singh. President S. Charanjit Singh Chadha asserted that since its inception in 1902, CKD has embarked upon a new venture in the field of education and religion and it is all due to the grace of holy spirit which has always been the strength of Chief Khalsa Diwan.
At the end , President S. Charanjit Singh Chadha was honored by Gurudwara management. Vote of thanks was purposed by Vice President S. Dhanraj Singh . Langar was served to all devotees. Resident President S. Nirmal Singh, Honorary Secy. S. Narinder Singh Khurana , S. Harminder Singh, S. S.P. Singh including principals and other dignitaries also graced the occasion.
