Amritsar, Nov. 9 (Punjab Post Bureau)- Prof. A.S. Brar, Vice-Chancellor formally inaugurated the Guru Nanak Dev University Regional Campus at Fattu Dhinga. Bhog Sri Sukhmani Sahib by students and staff alongwith Kirtan by Raagi Singhs were also performed to mark this occasion. Prof. Brar also inaugurated the website of the campus for the benefit of students. On this occasion, Prof. Brar said that the university built this beautiful campus building with the cost of 12 crore to spread higher education in this rural area. While thanking the Panchayet of Fattu Dhinga village for donation of land for campus, Prof. Brar said that if the Panchayet would donate another 15 acre land then this campus could be more developed and more new need based courses could be stared. Dr. Derik Engles, OSD of the campus honored Prof. Brar and other guests with Siropao. Guru-Ka-Langar was also servered on this occasion .Dr. G.S. Virk, OSD Sathiala; Engg. Mukesh Kumar Sharma, Xen; Engg. H.S. Tinna, Assistant Engineer, Engg. Simarpreet Singh, Junior Engineer, Master Gurdev Singh, Deputy Chairman, Zila Parishad, Kapurthala; Principal Keval Singh Ratra, Adarsh School, Ucha Bet, Kapurthala, S. Bagicha Singh, Sarpanch, Fattu Dinga and others were also present.
