AAP, Congress’s attack on Jaitley is `politically motivated’- Punjab BJP

RMS Chhina hits out at opposition for `mischievous’ DDCA row

Amritsar, Dec. 26 (Punjab Post Bureau)- Hitting hard at Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and the Congress for raking unnecessary and fake  issues relating the Delhi and District Cricket Association (DDCA), Punjab Bhartiya Janata Party vice-president S.Rajinder Mohan Singh Chhina termed the allegations by opposition against Union Minister Arun Jaitley as `politically motivated’. He said Jaitley was man of integrity and clean public image who would never stoop low to indulge in any corrupt practice and attack on him was all due to political reasons. Chhina said the opposition has nothing to target the Modi government which is taking the country to the new path of development, building India’s strong image abroad.  “In the scenario when there are no issues left, the opposition which is resorting to negative propaganda for political reasons’’, said he adding that Jaitley was instrumental in all around development of the game in Delhi and outside. “Jaitley due to his professionalism and capabilities is most important person in the present Union government. The opposition parties are aspiring to attack him to seek political mileage. But the politics should not stoop to this level which is not healthy for the country’’, said he adding that Congress is synonym to corruption which was evident from the scores of scandals it was in neck deep during the pat UPA government. Supporting his mentor for being the victim of false propaganda, Chhina also hit at party’s suspended MP Kirti Azad for joining hands with the opposition parties due to certain `personal grudge’ against Jaitley. “The allegations pertain to UPA regime and if there were malpractices why he remained silent and now he is trying to target his own senior party leader’’, asked Chhina adding that Kirti was playing into the hands of the forces which were against Modi government in the Centre. He said hysteria was being created if he was responsible for all the bad that was in DDCA though he was the one who cleaned the administration and improved the sports facilities under the DDCA to international standards.  “AAP and Congress is two sides of the same coin. They are the each other’s A and B team and both political parties aim to mislead the public for the vested political interests’’, said Chhina.
