KAUSA Trust presents Kala Shree Awards to the Budding Artists of the City

Amritsar, Jan. 16 (Punjab Post Bureau) – KAUSA Trust organised a program “PROTSAHAN” at KT:Kalã, Lawrence Road to present Kala Shree Awards to the Budding Artists of the City. 14 Students of Fine Arts Classes of plus Two, B.A Fine Arts, M.A. Fine Arts and BFA were awarded with Kala Shree Awards. These students were selected by their respective school / colleges on the demand of KT Kala. This is second year that such awards were given to the budding artists. A luggage bag and a certificate were presented to each awardee. Dr.  Pushpinder Walia, Principal, BBK DAV College for Women, Amritsar was the Chief Guest and she presented the awards to the students. The Award winners include Pahul Preet, Vanshika, Navneet Kaur,  Amrita Shergil, Sanjoli Aggarwal and Bhupinder Kaur from BBK DAV College for Women, Arpit Kaur from Sri Guru Harkrishan School G.T.Road, Utsav Teji       from DAV Public School, Arun Kumar from Hindu Sabha Sr.Sec.School, Srishti Kundra   from Holy Heart Presidency, Kiranbir Kaur   from Sri Guru Harkrishan School G.T.Road, Danish Walia from  DAV Senior Secondary School, Tarsem Singh from Saint Sarangdhar Sr. Sec. School, Ranjot Singh from Khalsa College Sr.Sec.School  Office bearers of KAUSA Trust Rajesh Raina, President, Dr. Baldev Gambhir, O.N.Tikku, Brajesh Jolly, and Artists like Dr. Jiwan Sodhi, Dr. Aditi Jain, Dr. Lalit Gopal Parashar, Dr. Shailender Kuamr, Jaspal Singh, Jagdeep Singh, Kajal Kumari, Bela Aggarwal, Poonam Kishore, Bharti Malhotra, Kulwant S. Gill, Manju Kumari, Priyanka Sharma, Aakarshi Sawhney, Prof. N.K Oberoi and many other artists and art lovers were also present.
