Amritsar, April 10 (Punjab Post Bureu) – Dr. Jaswinder Singh Dhillon has been unanimously elected as Honorary Secretary of Educational Committee once again. Election was held under the supervision of president Chief Khalsa Diwan S. Charanjit Singh Chadha. Mean while S. Santokh Singh Sethi is also honored as Additional Honorary Secretary of Educational Committee. Educational Committee has been playing a very important role in the field of spreading education since 1908. Being integral part of Chief Khalsa Diwan, Educational Committee has organized successfully 65 Sikh Educational Conference in the various parts of the Country & now is ready to organize 66th world Sikh Educational conference in November at, Sri Guru Harkrishan Sen. Sec. Public School, G.T. Road, Amritsar. This conference is dedicated to golden jubilee of the school. Besides providing scholarships to the poor & needy students, educational committee organize CKD Inter School Tournament and Cultural competitions every year.
President Chief Khalsa Diwan S. Charanjit Singh Chadha congratulated Dr. Jaswinder Singh Dhillon for adorning his new chair once again hoping that 66th World Sikh Educational Conference would successfully achieve its goal under his dynamic leadership. Dr. Jaswinder Singh Dhillon expressed his gratitude to all the members to exhibit their faith on him & his capabilities. He also promised his whole-hearted dedication & devotion for the cause of further development of Educational Committee. Dr. Dharamveer Singh, Director of Educational Committee was also declared as the convener of 66th World Sikh Education Conference.
Besides Vice President, S. Dhanraj Singh, Resident President, S. Nirmal Singh, Honorary Secretary, S. Narinder Singh Khurana, Chief Khalsa Diwan, S. Santokh Singh Seithi, S. Harjit Singh Tarntaran, S. Ramneek Singh and Dr. Dharamveer Singh were present at the occasion.
