182 Students of DAV College got placements in the academic session 2015-16

Amritsar, Apr. 28 (Punjab Post Bureu) –  In academic session 2015-2016, the placement and training cell of the DAV College successfully invited the renowned companies for the Campus Placement, in which around 182 students from the various streams were selected by these companies. Principal Dr Rajesh Kumar informed that during this academic session, the various companies like Tech. Mahindra, Concentrix, AON, TCS Ignite, Pixatel, Lava International, Eclerx, Talwandi Sabo Power Corporation Ltd., Decathlon, Birla Sun Life Insurance, HDFC Bank and ICICI Prudential visited the college campus and selected 182 students from the different streams BA, BSC, BCOM, BBA, BJMC,, BSC (Bio- Tech), BSc Medical and non medical, BSc (IT), PGDCA, MSc (Physics, Computer Science, Maths) and MCom. Dr. Rajesh Kumar said that college has also organized Pool Campus Placements Drives for the colleges of Amritsar, Taran Tarn, Gurdaspur district, which includes ITI’s and Science Colleges. He congratulated Dr Amardeep Gupta, In charge of the Placement Cell and Head of the department of Computer Science & IT, College Administrator Dr. Daziy Sharma, Dr. Laxmikant, Dr. Kamal Kishore for their sincere efforts to provide campus placements to the large number of students.
