Maths Wizards Honoured at DAV Public School

Amritsar, May 20 (Punjab Post Bureau) – 38 students of DAV Public School, Lawrence Road , Amritsar were honoured for securing top ranks in the International Mathematics Olympiad organised by SOF . In the first round of the Olympiad, 10 students of the school bagged Gold Medal of Excellence, 9 students bagged Gold Medal , 9  students won Silver and another 9 students bagged Bronze Medals for securing  top school ranks. In the second level of the Olympiad as many as 9 students received Merit certificate, gift hamper and cash award for their performance par excellence. Adit Sood of Std IV and Vandit Khanna of Std VII received a cash prize of Rs 5000. Sarthak Mehta of Std IV , Raveesh Gulati of Std V , Nipun Nohria of Std VI , Himanshu Goenka of Std VIII, Tanul Manan of Std VIII, Eshaan Sharma of  Std IX , and Adhit Arora of Std V received  a cash of Rs 1000 for their brilliant performance in the second round of the prestigious Olympiad.

Regional Director , Punjab Zone – A Dr. (Mrs.) Neelam Kamra and the Manager of the school , Dr. Rajesh Kumar Principal DAV College Amritsar congratulated  the students for their achievement and blessed them for their future endeavors. Dr. Neera Sharma Principal of the school was happy at the performance of the students and congratulated the Teachers and the students for the brilliant performance. She encouraged the students to maintain their performance in future also.
