Punjab B.Ed. Admissions 2016-17

Amritsar, August 4 (Punjab Post Bureau)- The admission committee constituted by worthy Vice Chancellor committee unanimously decided that the following criteria be followed to fill up the vacant seats for admission to two years B.Ed. Course (2016-17) after online counseling in the education colleges throughout the state; All those candidates who have registered through online process for state level admission to two year B.Ed. course conducted by Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar for session 2016-17 but could not appear in the Common Entrance Test (CET) or submit the qualifying marks or fill the choices etc may seek admission against vacant seats merit wise in various education colleges after 07.08.2016 subject to their eligibility and availability of seats. The colleges are strictly instructed to give first preference to the candidates who had qualified Common Entrance Test (CET) and second preference to the candidates registered through online process, however could not appear in the test conducted by Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar. After exhausting all eligible and test qualified candidates followed by registered candidates, the colleges shall fill remaining vacant seats merit wise in a transparent manner.  The desiring candidates may report to the Co-ordinator, Pujanb B.Ed. Admissions 2016-17 immediately if any college ignoring the merit to fill up the vacant seats for admission to two year B.Ed. Course for session 2016-17.
