
Amritsar, August 10 (Punjab Post Bureau) – A three-months special course for the class four employees of Estate Office of the Guru Nanak Dev University was inaugurated here today. This course is being organized by the Life Long Learning Department of the University under the guidance of Ms.Ritu Bhatti, Deputy Registrar of the University with the objective to impart basic education to these illiterate employees. As many as 51 employees are participating in the course.
Prof. Sharanjit Singh Dhillon, Registrar was the chief guest on the inauguration. Prof. Anish Dua, Professor Incharge (PR) was also present on this occasion. Dr. Gurpreet Kaur, Director of the Department welcomed the chief guest and others. She also gave details about the activities of the department.
Prof. Dhillon on the occasion appreciated the efforts of the department and lauded the good services by the department to the society in the various sectors. He said that all possible support would be given in future for organizing this type of courses and workshops. Dr. Gurpreet Kaur also honoured Prof. Dhillon and others with memento.
