Nepalese students performs at Global Institutes to celebrate India’s I-Day

PPN1608201612Amritsar, Aug. 16 (Punjab Post Bureau) – Nepalese students studying in Global Institutes Amritsar (GIA) gave dance performances celebrating India’s 70th Independence Day at Institute premises. Students also put up impressive performances of short plays highlighting the social evils have played havoc with the social fabric of the society – Rampant Drug Addiction and Dowry system.Following the hoisting the Tricolor with full patriotic fervor, Chairman GIA Dr. B S Chandi with Vice President Dr Akashdeep Singh, the Chairman in his address to students said the Institute plans to organize tours to villages and other places for students, to have first-hand experience of birthplaces of prominent freedom fighters and learn about their sacrifices for the freedom of the nation.
