Governor of Punjab visited Guru Nanak Dev University

Amritsar, Aug. 24 (Punjab Post Bureau) –  The Governor of Punjab and Chancellor of Guru Nanak Dev University H.E. Shri V.P. Singh Badnore visited the University during his visit to Holy City Amritsar. On reaching University Campus, Vice-Chancellor Prof. Ajaib Singh Brar and other officials warmly received the Governor and his family. It is pertinent to say that Guru Nanak Dev University is the first institution, Governor visited in the state. While welcoming the governor, Prof. Brar apprised him about the all round achievements of the university in the field of academics, sports and culture. Shri Badnore congratulated Prof. Brar for the great name earned by the university in the country during recent years. He expressed his happiness over the State of Art Infrastructure and congenial atmosphere of the University.Prof. Brar honoured Sh. Badnore with memento and Lady Vice-Chancellor Mrs. Brar honoured Mrs. Badnore with Phulkari.
