
Amritsar, Nov 26 (Punjqb Post Bureau) – Khalsa College Public School today lifted the overall trophy in the first two-day-long Inter-Khalsa School Cultural Competitions concluded here today. A colourful program was arranged in which the winners were given prizes during the function as Khalsa College Senior Secondary School was runner up in the competitions which witnessed the Shabad recitals, debates, quiz, songs, dance and group singing events.
Khalsa College Governing Council honourary secretary Rajinder Mohan Singh Chhina who was the chief guest in the event said that extra-curriculum activities help the students to develop an overall personality. He said it was with this aim that the inter-Khalsa institutions competition was planned and he was happy to see the students perform on the stage.
Chhina announced that Khalsa College Charitable Society will fund the medical treatment of the students of Khalsa Senior School from Khalsa Orphanage who were visually challenged and if any one donate eyes, the Society will bear the fee of the doctors for the transplantation of the eyes.
