Geeta Chanting Competition held at Madhav Vidya Niketan

Amritsar, Dec 10 (Punjab Post Bureau) – A School level Geeta Chanting Competition was organized at Madhav Vidya Niketan Sr. sec. School today in which students participatred with full enthusiasm. The competition was divided into two groups. The 16^th Chapter of Geeta & Shlokas were recited by students. The Judges of the competition were Dr. Dalbir  Singh ( HOD Sanskrit Deptt. , GNDU ) & Dr. Vishal Bhardwaj ( Hindu Sabha College ) An aura of mysticism and spirituality gave the whole atmosphere a religions look. Students holding First, Second & Third positions were awarded with prizes. This whole function was organized under the guidance of the Principal Sh. Ramesh Kumar Thakur. The results of the competition are as follows:

Group A :-  1^st Disha class 4^th,  2^nd  Maanya Class 4^th , 3^rd Rachit Class 5^th  and Consolation Prize   Manu Class 5^th

Group B :- 1^st Nehal Class 10^th B, 2^nd Upinder Class 9^th , 3^rd Arshpreet  class 10^th B

Consolation Prize   :- Krish class 6^th .
