Firing Exercise held for NCC Air Wing Cadets

Amritsar, 5 June ( Punjab Post Bureau)- 38 NCC Air Wing JD / JW cadets of DAV Public School , Lawrence Road , Amritsar participated in Firing Exercise on June 3, 2014 held at Sri Guru Harkrishan International School, Ranjit Avenue, Amritsar. 25 boys and 13 girls were taught to fire and told about the parts of rifle and its use. The students practiced firing under the able supervision of Co. Wing Commander BK Remala. It was a learning experience for the students. Regional Director Amritsar Zone Dr. (Mrs.) Neelam Kamra Principal BBK DAV College for women , Lawrence Road , Amritsar and the Manager of the school Dr. K.N. Kaul Principal DAV College , Hathi Gate , Amritsar encouraged the students to participate in such activities with full zeal in future also. Dr. Neera Sharma Principal of the school said that these activities are very helpful in shaping the character of students and would help them in case they want to join Defence Services in future .
