BBK DAV Organizes A Seven Days NSS Camp

Amritsar, Dec 31 (Punjab Post Bureau) – NSS Unit of BBK DAV College for Women organised a seven days camp to inculcate spirit of the social service among its volunteers. The camp was inaugurated with Havan Yajna in the presence of Sh. Sudarshan Kapoor, Chairman, LMC, Principal Dr. Pushpinder Walia and the Chief Guest Dr. Rajesh Kumar, NSS Programme officer, Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar.

While interacting with the volunteers, Dr. Rajesh Kumar shared his views on Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan and demonetisation. He advised the volunteers to educate the underprivileged people regarding the benefits of the cashless transactions so that we can move toward a corruption-free and a transparent economy. Principal Dr. Pushpinder Walia congratulated the NSS unit on organising the camp. Addressing the volunteers, she said that NSS plays a vital role for the upliftment of the society. She motivated the students to serve the society wholeheartedly. Mrs. Surbhi Sethi & Mrs. Priya Sharma NSS Programme officers, along with their team members, participated in the camp.
