SOLO Art Exhbition Of Landscape Paintings by Karuna Mohindra

Amritsar, January 20 (Punjab Post Bureau)- KT:Kalã organised an art exhibition “Journey Through Forests” of artist Karuna Mohindra from Ludhiana at KT:Kalã Kendra Lawrence Raod, Opposite Nayyar Hospital, Amritsar. Mrs. Jasmit Nayyar, Ex. DPI (Colleges) Punjab & Ex Principal S.R Government College for Women and Dr. Baldev Gambhir, Eminent Artist inaugurated the exhibition. Brajesh jolly Director of KT:Kala welcomed the guests. Shri Rajesh Raina, Secretary of the Trust briefed about the KAUSA Trsut and presented bouquet to the guests.

Brajesh jolly said that exhibition 26 recent landscape paintings are on display till 22.01.2017. This exhibition is a good platform for the budding artists of the city to experience the perspective and have a look on light and shade with bold and bright strokes, Jolly said. Artist Karuna Mohindra has received All India Award from Virsa Vihar Amritsar, State Award from Indian Academy of Fine Arts Amritsar & many more. Recently she has visited South Indian states and painted the beauty of nature on canvas in acrylic colours.

In her key note address, the chief guest Mrs. Jasmit Nayyar highly appreciated the efforts of KAUSA Trust. She expressed her joy of watching beautiful landscape paintings of the artist.

 Dr. Baldev Gambhir appreciated the work of artist saying that the she has done good study on nature. Mr. Dinesh Mohindru husband of the artist expressed his sincere thanks to KAUSA Trust Amritsar for inviting the artist and providing its gallery for this exhibition.
