DAV Public Students take out Rally to highlight Need to Vote

Amritsar, February 1 (Punjab Post Bureau)- To create awareness on the importance of voting , the students of DAV Public School, Lawrence Road took out a rally. Over 50 students took part in the rally which passed through important thoroughfares in the city.

The students raised slogans, appealing to the eligible voters to exercise their votes to ensure hundred percent polling. They also motivated the citizens to elect the right leaders to secure the future of the country.  The students also took a pledge to ensure participation of their parents, elders and family members in the upcoming elections. Regional Director Punjab Zone A Dr. Neelam Kamra and Manager of the school Dr. Rajesh Kumar appreciated the efforts of the students for taking out the rally and motivating the people to cast their votes. Dr. Neera Sharma Principal of the school praised the efforts of the students and appealed to the eligible citizens to participate in voting process with enthusiasm.
