Jandiala Guru, February 2 (Harinder Pal Singh) – With the able guidance of Worthy Chairman Er. S.K Punj, Esteemed MD Smt. Tripta Punj, Respected JMD Ms. Anubha Punj, the festival of Basant Panchami celebrated with great enthusiam at Sri Sai Group of institutes Manawala Amritsar.
A special programme was held on the occasion under the guidance of Campus Director Dr. Sanjay Bahl by HMCT Department. The programme started with Godess Saraswati Pooja by Respected JMD Mam, Campus Director Dr. Sanjay Bahl, Principal SPC Mr. Anmol Goyal along with all HODs, Staff Members and students. The programme further followed by activities such as Rangoli Competition and Kite Flying competition at the college to mark the festival of spring. Mr. Malwinder Singh, Mrs. Shilpa Sharma and Mr. Gurpreet Singh Coordinated the events. The Basant Panchami or popularly known as the ‘kite festival’ was celebrated with kite-flying competitions and dressing up for the day. All students and Staff members of the college celebrated the festival by dressing up in various shades of yellow. Sweets were distributed to all the Staff members and Students. Campus Director Dr. Sanjay Bahl lauded the efforts of teachers and students.
